Assembled 15U server rack 80cm depth SPEEDSMOUNT IT network cabinet equipment e

1. Full-Depth Server & Enterprise Equipment

• Application: Perfect for mounting standard-depth servers (up to ~750mm deep), like Dell PowerEdge, HP ProLiant, or Supermicro systems.

• Why it fits: The 80 cm depth provides space for rear cable clearance, airflow, and accessories like cable managers or PDUs.

🏢 2. Data Centers & Server Rooms

• Purpose: Ideal for branch data centers, co-location setups, or back-end storage servers in corporate environments.

• Usage: Can host a mix of compute nodes, RAID/NAS storage, KVM switches, and UPS units.

📡 3. Network Distribution / Core Switch Installations

• For: Large switches, fiber panels, routers, and firewalls that are longer and require better cooling.

• Extra space: Allows for structured cabling, fiber slack storage, or rear patching panels.

🎛️ 4. High-End Audio-Visual / Broadcast Integration

• Use Case: AV techs often use these deeper racks for high-power amplifiers, video switchers, or studio processors.

• Why this size: Provides enough depth to accommodate deep pro gear and cable bundles behind.

🔐 5. Surveillance & Security System Racks

• Devices: NVRs, PoE switches, and recording storage.

• Deep rack benefit: Leaves room for backup batteries (UPS) and extra cooling hardware.

🧪 6. Industrial / Laboratory IT Racks

• Example: Scientific computing stations or test server arrays.

• Advantage: Can host GPU-heavy systems or high-density blade-like servers that need extra room and airflow.

✅ Why Choose 60×80 cm Over 60×45 or 60×60?

• More Cooling Options: More space for rear fans or vertical airflow designs.

• Easier Cable Routing: Especially important for fiber or structured data cabling.

• Future-Proofing: Supports newer, deeper gear and easier upgrades without replacing the rack.
